Young Indian Children Perform UAE National Anthem in Heartfelt Tribute

Malhaar, an art and culture studio based in Dubai, has unveiled a poignant video showcasing young Indian children performing the UAE National Anthem using traditional Indian instruments.

The video features a group of young expatriate students, who consider the UAE their second home, coming together in a warm and simple setting to deliver a powerful instrumental version of the national anthem as an ensemble.

Rooted in Indian classical training, their performance serves as a heartfelt homage to the nation that has provided their families with opportunities, safety, and a sense of belonging.

A Tribute Born Out of the UAE

The children utilize Indian instruments such as the harmonium and tabla, infusing the familiar melody of the anthem with a new warmth and texture.

Malhaar accompanied the video with a caption that reflects the spirit behind the project: "When young hearts come together, music becomes a bridge of unity and hope".

The caption also highlights that the tribute is "an offering of harmony, friendship, and shared cultural respect," and “reflects the deep bond between India and the UAE, as a message of peace, solidarity, and hope in challenging times".

In a region characterized by its multicultural fabric, this artistic gesture serves as a reminder of how communities can coexist and celebrate one another.

Malhaar’s Ethos of Cultural Bridge-Building

Malhaar Centre for Performing Arts, located in Dubai, has long been recognized as one of the UAE’s foremost hubs for Indian classical music and performing arts, training thousands of students across diverse age groups.

Initially founded as a passion project, Malhaar has organized large-scale productions and curated community initiatives that engage Indian artistic traditions with Dubai’s vibrant cultural landscape.

Thank You from Sheikh Hamdan

The performance received acclaim from Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, who shared the video on his Instagram, expressing gratitude to the group. Take a look:

Regular dental visits are essential for maintaining a healthy smile, but seeing the dentist every six months as often recommended can be expensive, especially in Singapore where dental fees tend to be on the higher side. If your oral hygiene is good, you might stretch visits to once every 18 months or two years. Still, regular check-ups help detect problems like cavities early, preventing costly treatments later.
